frequently asked questions:
⯈ 1. What is the planetarium?A planetarium is a 360-degree space theatre, where the entire sky becomes the movie screen. The experience feels 3D, similar to VR, but without the VR glasses. Using the digital system allows the audience to fly anywhere in the universe! ⯈ 2. Will I get dizzy / motion sickness? Most likely no, especially since we start our programs with some simpler animations to ease into the experience. It’s very different than wearing VR glasses and is similar to an IMAX theatre. ⯈ 3. Is the dome accessible? The dome can accommodate all sizes of wheelchairs and mobility devices. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us and we would be happy to ensure you have a positive experience. Note that we are working to improve our accessibility standards, but currently do not have captioning available in shows. ⯈ 4. What type of seating is in the dome?Tickets include a spot on our amazing and comfy inflatable seating. It forms a ring around the outer edge of the dome and places guests at the perfect angle for observing the sky. Seating for What Is In The Sky? and One World, One Sky is informal and parents are welcome to hold their child, have them sit in their lap or next to them - whichever works best for you! ⯈ 5. Where is the event taking place? After purchasing tickets, you will receive a confirmation with all the necessary venue information venue, as well as an electronic receipt containing your showtime. You will also receive a reminder email one week before the show. Please check your Spam/Junk if you do not see these emails. ⯈ 6. Are the shows only for kids / families?Although the planetarium is a great place for kids to learn about space, our motto is “Space for Everyone!” A planetarium provides a venue for entertainment and education for all ages and knowledge levels. Teens and adults will learn and enjoy the wonders of the universe as much as kids will! ⯈ 7. Can I take photos during the show?Yes, you can! We want you to remember this incredible experience. Just ensure to turn your camera’s flash off so you don’t surprise everyone and ruin your photos. ⯈ 8. Can my child attend the show alone? No, all children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to attend one of our programs. Each ticket for What Is In The Sky? and One World, One Sky includes admission for one parent to accompany their child in the show. This ticket deal does not apply to The Wanderers or The Great Cosmic Journey. ⯈ 9. Are younger children welcome?Yes, children of any age are welcome to attend. Please note we cannot accommodate strollers within the dome, as they can block exits and create tripping hazards. You are welcome to leave a stroller safely outside the dome. ⯈ 10. Do you accept Access 2 Cards?Yes, we do! Please contact us for details about how to use your Access 2 card prior to purchasing tickets. ⯈ 11. I didn't receive any tickets in my email, when will I receive them? There are no physical or electronic tickets to our tour shows. We keep a record of all ticket purchases and will know to expect you at the appropriate show time(s). You will receive an electronic receipt by email after purchasing tickets; this receipt includes your show date, show time(s), and show name(s). You will also receive a ticket confirmation email that includes details about the venue and some additional information. ⯈ 12. Why haven't I received any emails since purchasing tickets? An electronic receipt email and a ticket confirmation email are sent to you after purchasing tickets. If you selected Apple Pay or Google Pay, this overrides the email manually entered during the checkout process and information will be sent to the email associated with your Apple Pay / Google Pay account. If you no longer have access to that email, if you would like to update the email where reminders will be sent, or if you believe you made a typo when entering your email, please contact us. |
