Meet a variety of space experts as you test, create, explore, and experience all we have to offer. Our premier space camp is the only camp with the full 4K digital planetarium!

Camp Information

The Perfect Space Camp Experience

This summer, experience the GTA’s premier space camp for kids aged 6-12! Here are a few activities campers can look forward to this summer:

  • Create take-home constellations, planets, and more
  • Complete build challenges with high-flying rockets and Mega Mars Rovers
  • See the Sun through a telescope and your own solar glasses
  • Spend the week exploring the universe in our spectacular 4K planetarium

Education and Skills

Campers will gain unique skills that are essential for successful Astronauts, Engineers, and Scientists! As part of this inquiry-based STEM camp, your child will develop valuable skills, including:

  • Problem solving for Astronauts
  • Team work for future Scientists and Engineers
  • Communication and interpersonal skills for STEM Success

  1. What should my child bring to camp?
    Campers should bring a nut-free lunch and snacks, as well as a reusable water bottle, hat, and sunscreen.
  2. Is camp gear available?
    Yes, t-shirts and water bottles are available at additional cost at checkout. Your child will receive it upon arriving at camp. Other space swag will also be available for purchase in person at the end of the week.
  3. What are the camp hours?
    9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, with extended care from 8:00-9:00 am and 4:00-5:00 pm for an additional fee.
  4. What is your staff to camper ratio?
    We provide a staffing ratio of 1:10 or better. We will never have more than 30 campers registered per week.
  5. Will the campers be inside all day?
    No, campers will be outside for at least an hour each day, weather permitting.
  6. My child is outside of the stated 6-12 age range, can they still attend camp?
    The minimum age for campers will be determined by the grade they’ll enter in the fall, with all campers entering at least Grade 1 in September 2026. This means that campers should have birthdates between January 1st, 2014 and December 31st, 2020. We cannot accommodate campers outside of these birthdates, as the program, content, and staff training are all geared toward ensuring success for this age group.
  7. I want to register my child for multiple weeks, will it be different each week?
    You are welcome to register for multiple weeks, however, please note that many activities will be the same. Special guests and presentations may vary week to week.
  8. Do you offer a discount for sibling registration?
    Yes, we do! Use the code ‘MORERANGERS’ at checkout for 10% off your additional registrations!
  9. Where is the camp located?
    We are running seven week-long camp sessions. Three will be in North York at Wellspring Worship Centre Church, two will be in Scarborough at Scarborough Bluffs United Church, and two will be in Etobicoke at Wedgewood Junior Public School.
  10. When will I receive detailed camp information?
    Detailed camp information, including guests and full program details and specific activities, will be provided to registered campers a few weeks ahead of the camp start dates! Questions can always be sent to camp@astronomyinaction.com.
  11. What happens if I need to cancel my registration?
    Registrants may withdraw registration from camp at any time, by submitting a request in writing to camp@astronomyinaction.com. Depending on the submission date of cancellation requests, the following conditions will apply:
    • Withdrawal prior to June 1st, 2026 will result in a full refund of fees, minus the $100 deposit;
    • After June 1st, 2026 and prior to June 20th, 2026, 66% of camp fees paid will be refunded;
    • After June 20th, 2026, and prior to the first day of camp, 33% of the total camp fees paid will be refunded;
    • There will be no reimbursements after the camp session has started;
    • All decisions regarding refund of fees are final and made at the sole discretion of Astronomy in Action.
